I don’t know if you realize how often I think about you.
I know you carry so much that nobody sees. You’re always thinking about everyone else before yourself. You’re constantly worrying about our family, solving problems before anyone even knows they exist, and somehow still finding the strength to smile.
I also know that sometimes the house feels quieter than it used to. I know you miss me more than you say. And if I’m being honest… I miss you too.
No matter how busy life gets, no matter how much we grow up, there is one thing that will never change.
I will always need my mom.
Not because I can’t live without you, but because life simply feels lighter when I know you’re there.
You have spent your whole life making sure none of us ever felt alone.
I just hope you never feel that way yourself.
If I could give you one gift today, it would be the ability to see yourself through my eyes.
You’d finally see the woman I admire more than anyone. The woman whose love built our family. The woman whose strength has carried us through moments I’ll probably never even know about. The woman who gave so much of herself so that the people she loves could dream a little bigger and sleep a little more peacefully.
I’m proud to be your son. More proud than I’ve ever said out loud.
Every time someone tells me I’m kind, patient, or a good person, I quietly smile because I know where those pieces of me came from.
They came from you.
Please don’t spend this year carrying every burden by yourself. You don’t always have to be the strong one. You’ve spent a lifetime holding everyone else together.
Now let us hold you too.
And whenever you miss me, remember this.
Home has never been a place for me.
Home has always been you.
Happy Birthday, Mummuuu. ❤️
Thank you for giving me a love so unconditional that even when we’re apart, I still feel protected by it.
I promise you this: no matter how far life takes me, no matter how old we both become, I’ll never stop being Mumma’s boy.
I love you endlessly. Always.
